Seis
This sketch consists of an outward spiral with amplitude modulation applied. The modulation is sourced from different noisefields and is reminiscent of how a seismometer detects ground vibrations.

This mangled chrome disk is obtained by displacing a spiral in 2D space, varying the amount of path smoothing and finally duplicating it with a small offset to get the moiré patterns.

As a homage to one of generative art's greatest, I implemented Inconvergent's 'A Tangle of Webs' algorithm in Processing. The original is for sale on his webshop.
